If you are getting or have a new puppy there are some things that I will tell you to help you train it. First, if you don't want it to jump up at people when they come in the door pretend the puppy is not there, then after a minute or two slowly ease into the dog like gently petting it, then you can talk to it, but don't do it by the door. Do it in another room. Remember, an excited dog isn't a happy dog. A calm dog is a happy dog.
